Position Summary:
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Human Resources Director will be a strategic business partner to executive and line management with particular emphasis on:
- Defining the future needs of the organisation based on the company’s vision and strategies
- Organisational transformation
- Union negotiations
Key Attributes Required:
- Graduate with a Human Resources focus ideally combined with a commercial qualification
- Ideally best practice and sophisticated human resource process and management experience in a large or multi-national company environment
- Useful to have operated in a manufacturing environment
- Essential to have a good knowledge of Labour Law, CCMA processes
- Generalist Human Resource management experience together with commercial skills
- Experience of dealing and negotiating with trade unions
