FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY:
Sales budget in excess of R300 million
TOTAL STAFF RESPONSIBILITY:
± 50 people
POSITION SUMMARY:
Assume responsibility for all sales and marketing activities of the company
KEY ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

A formal qualification in Mining would be ideal

Must have worked underground in a mining environment
-
Knowledge of the mining industry as a miner or mining supplier is essential
-
A minimum of 10 years management experience, including managing a sales force, with at least 2 years at an executive level.

Sales and marketing experience to the mining industry with well established relationships with key decision makers in the mining sector

Useful to have had international corporate experience
KEY JOB PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Assume responsibility for all sales and marketing activities of the company

Plan, develop and drive the growth strategy

Enhance relationships with the existing customer base as well as developing new customers

Co-ordinate the promotion of products and services to increase the share of the market and obtain a competitive positioning in the industry
