POSITION: Group Executive, Human Resources and Sustainability

NATURE OF BUSINESS: Fast Moving Consumer Goods Company

JOB LOCATION: Western Cape Province

REPORTS TO: Chief Executive Officer

TOTAL STAFF RESPONSIBILITY: 33 people

SUMMARY OF EXECUTIVE OPPORTUNITY: Assume accountability and responsibility for the Group’s human resources and sustainability functions

KEY EXECUTIVE ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

At least fifteen years experience in both human resources and sustainability roles in an organization which employs at least 5 000 people

Should ideally be leading the human resources and sustainability function for a company

Must have a Bachelor’s degree (Commerce, Industrial Psychology or Human Resource Management). A post-graduate degree would be highly advantageous

Good facilitation, communication and interpersonal skills. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as an ability to listen

KEY JOB PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Human Resources experience in the following areas: Human Resources Strategy, Employee Resourcing, Employee Relations, Human Resources Planning, Training and Development, Compensation and Benefits and People Management

Sustainability experience in the following areas: Sustainability, Corporate Social Investment, Enterprise Supplier Development (ESD) and Integrated reporting
