POSITION: Payroll Country Manager

 NATURE OF BUSINESS: Industrial Manufacturing

 JOB LOCATION: Cape Town, South Africa

 REPORTS TO: Human Resources Director

 SUMMARY OF EXECUTIVE OPPORTUNITY: To provide effective leadership and management of the payroll function for the Group in South Africa. Manage the payroll department and ensure effective operational performance and keep abreast of latest system and legislative changes to ensure that compliance with the law and stays abreast with the best operational practices. Advise and assist in structuring remuneration packages. 

 QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferably a University Degree or National Diploma in Payroll Management

 PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

At least 10-15 years’ relevant experience at management level

Experience in the manufacturing/automotive environment is necessary

Experience with the SAP payroll System mandatory

Proven management skills with a successful history of building, developing, motivating and leading a team

Excellent computer, numeracy & communication skills
