Position Summary:
Assume responsibility for the financial and administrative management of the company with particular emphasis on: setting financial objectives, developing, implementing and maintaining best practice financial and administrative controls; assisting with the implementation of the QAD Enterprise Resource Planning System; preparing the annual plan; budgeting, statutory and management reporting; and working capital management
Key Attributes Required:
- A Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) qualification
- At least five years post qualifying experience in an industrial manufacturing organisation
- Must have led or been second-in-charge of a financial and administration function
- A thorough understanding of manufacturing costing systems and product profitability systems and how they fit into the overall accounting system
- A working knowledge of the QAD ERP system would be advantageous
- Should ideally have experience of a start-up operation
