JOB LOCATION: Johannesburg
REPORTS TO: Managing Director
TOTAL STAFF RESPONSIBILITY: 8 people
SUMMARY OF EXECUTIVE OPPORTUNITY:
Assume responsibility and authority for the full scope of human resources for the industrial, commercial and head office divisions.
Main Deliverables:
- Building the Human Resources function, installing the basics and innovating across all Human Resources disciplines
- Taking the organisation to the next level of performance and professionalism
- Building organisation capability to meets both current and future business needs
- Creating a unique Organisation Culture
- Ensuring sound industrial relations in the organisation and production facility
- Building the Southern African subsidiary into a great place to work and an employer of choice in South Africa
KEY EXECUTIVE ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
- Must hold a university degree
- At least thirteen years experience in a human resources function, the majority of which should have been in the fast moving consumer goods sector
- Must have held the position of Human Resources Director or been Head of a significant Human Resources Division in at least one previous role in South Africa
- Must have worked in both a manufacturing and a branded goods organisation
- Must have Industrial Relations experience
- Experience in a multinational organisation would be advantageous
