SUMMARY OF EXECUTIVE OPPORTUNITY:
Responsibility for initiating and driving sales strategy aligned to key business objectives, delivering sales growth and achieving targets, controlling overheads, developing and leading the sales team and managing customer relationships.

KEY EXECUTIVE ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
- At least ten years experience in a top-tier multinational FMCG food company
- Solid sales background in the retail/wholesale sector of the FMCG Industry with a track record of achieving targets. Sales experience in the food services sector would be an advantage
- Should ideally have had three years experience in a managerial position
- Excellent business acumen and ability to read and manage profit and loss statements and determine SKU profitability
- Direct customer responsibility and experience essential
KEY JOB PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Responsible for implementing the overall strategic sales plans for the company
- Strategically grow sales volumes within both the retail and food service segments
- Devise and execute sales strategies and achieve targets by Brand, by channel and by outlet
- Devise and maintain pricing and dealing level strategy in line with the overall strategic growth agenda
- Utilise knowledge of customers work process, and trends to create winning business plans
- Foster solid relationships with food service accounts by driving alignment of strategies while implementing action orientated tasks to drive the necessary plan
- Work jointly with customers to create category insights and facilitate collaboration between customers and the company to agree on plans that meet customer needs.
