SUMMARY OF EXECUTIVE OPPORTUNITY:

The incumbent will be required to lead, direct and manage business operations activities, ensuring these are delivered in accordance with the organisational strategy for the Group. Additionally, the incumbent will take ownership of the Budget and Profit & Loss (P&L) management of the business unit.

KEY EXECUTIVE ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

At least five years of senior general management experience with P&L responsibility for businesses with a turnover of €70 million, managing cross-border operations, particularly in Africa
Should have managed a staff complement of at least 50 people
Must have a working knowledge of diverse healthcare systems, and regulatory frameworks
Experience in a multinational joint venture group is essential
Specific experience of creating and driving a commercial growth programme
Strong financial acumen, commercially astute and profit orientated
Finger on the pulse of technical advancement implementation
Prepared to undertake local and international travel

QUALIFICATIONS:

Post graduate Degree/Diploma in Medical Technology, Healthcare Management, Business Administration or a related field
Proficiency in French would be an advantage
