SUMMARY OF EXECUTIVE OPPORTUNITY: 

This position is primarily responsible for the analytical, research and presentation work associated with the IR function and for co-ordinating the various IR activities. Through collaborating with the IR team members to deliver strategic IR insights and information internally and developing appropriate messages and accurate materials for the external capital markets community.

KEY EXECUTIVE ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in Investor Relations at a senior level
• A strong process mindset with a track-record of successful achievement in the Investor Relations space for a substantial, preferably listed institution
• Strong financial analysis and modelling skills, including a thorough understanding of financial performance metrics and financial statements
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface effectively at all levels of the organization and influence internal and external audiences
• A pro-active self-starter, with the ability to work unsupervised, with an entrepreneurial approach to identifying requirements
• Ability to accommodate the unstructured elements of the IR function and suitable judgement to adapt/re-prioritize tasks if/when necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:

•     Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field, with a preference for (CA) SA with Investor Relations (IR) experience
