SUMMARY OF EXECUTIVE OPPORTUNITY:

• Assume responsibility for the management of the financial and administrative operations of the Company with particular emphasis on working with the Board, Shareholders and senior management team to grow the business regionally and from a profitability point of view, whilst assisting in the formulation and implementation of strategic plans

• Lead and manage the audit and budgeting process, all cash and treasury management operations; all financial transactions and capital expenditure as well as ensuring tax compliance and the timeous submission of  all tax returns

KEY EXECUTIVE ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

• Must be a Chartered Accountant
• Should ideally have held the position of Finance Director of a Group which supplies products to the agricultural sector and has grown from one to multi-country operations; or Regional Finance Director of a significant primary agricultural company in Africa
• Must have Africa experience and a working knowledge of the agri-industry
• Must be a seasoned financial professional with sound knowledge of and experience in tax, including withholding taxes as well as corporate income tax and value added taxes; monthly reporting; transfer pricing and thin capitalisation
