SUMMARY OF EXECUTIVE OPPORTUNITY:

• Develop actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term, medium-term and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the current Managing Director and the Group Chief Executive Officer
• Driving the continued success and future growth of the business with a focus on diversification of the product and customer base; establishing greater market share in other regions of Sub-Saharan Africa; continuing to develop the management team

KEY EXECUTIVE ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

•    Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant field or a Chartered Accountant
• A minimum of four years’ experience in an executive leadership role
• Must have been responsible for an annual  revenue in excess of R1 billion
• Must have managed a staff complement of at least 500 employees
• Strong experience in managing and optimising a diverse business in terms of product, manufacturing, distribution and retailing
• Experience in working with and implementing of ERP systems
• Preferably have driven business expansion during his/her career
• Should have a good understanding of corporate governance
• Southern Africa multi-country exposure and experience in executing and integrating Mergers & Acquisitions will be advantageous
