SUMMARY OF EXECUTIVE OPPORTUNITY:

The Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting activities across the group portfolio, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations. The role requires a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills and report writing, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and taxation to ensure the integrity and reliability of the group’s financial information. This position offers an opportunity to play a key role in the financial management and success of the business.

KEY EXECUTIVE ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

• Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in accounting or finance management, preferably in the investment management industry
• Must exhibit a thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as taxation, ideally in the investment management industry
• Must demonstrate a thorough understanding and execution of budgeting, variance analysis and monthly reporting, as well as forecasting
• Must be highly proficient in the review of complex financial information
• Must have a good understanding of compliance and regulations ideally in the investment management industry

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A relevant under and post graduate qualification
• Chartered Accountant (SA) (minimum)
